Here we will hopefully stimulate our minds. My heart's desire, for this class, is that you will love the Lord with all your heart, soul and mind; and have a deeper understanding of Him. I pray you change your perspective and live for the Lord fully so that He can use you and do mighty things in you. This school isn't a prison and I'm not the prison guard. You only have five months, let's really apply ourselves, change our perspective and stop compromising! Love ya!

ReplyDeleteJon Courson atarts with telling is how Peter wrote to the Christians trying to encourage them through their trials. Later he goes into telling us how we should be like the stars, the darker it gets, the brighter we should be. Later, He goes into how everybody goes through loneliness, and the only real long term solution is Jesus Christ. Jon Courson then ends it with this thought, we all feel guilty, because we are all guilty.
Also, this says im BCS Newspaper, its Andrew... HAIII!
Jon Courson is telling us that even when we are going through a difficult time we should be shining like the stars on a dark night. He explains that Peter tells us to be happy no matter what circumstance we are going through, because we have an opportunity to share that hope that is within us. We live in a world full of hopelessness and explains that people dont understand how christians can have such hope when things go wrong. Everyone is essentially empty until they find salvation. Jesus is that friend that is always there for us. We are desperately lonly and painfully guilty.
